This brand new chute was built during the winter on 2016 to cut out the annoying portage right after the start of the second day and to create an exciting viewing point for spectators.
The chute is similar in design to the first chute at Double Trouble. After sliding down the steps of the chute you meet a lateral wave created by the flow of water coming in from the right. This will naturally take the nose of your boat to the left and quite close to the wall.
Keep paddling enthusiastically, and enjoy the rapids below the weir!
For those who prefer, there is still the option of a portage on the right of the river.
