The following outlines the prize money policy for the Fish River Canoe Marathon, a canoeing event organized by the Fish River Canoe Marathon Committee. The policy is designed to reward the top-performing male and female participants. The total prize money structure for the event is R25 000 to be distributed as follows::<\/p>\n

                                  Please note that the base prize money structure mentioned above applies to both K1 (individual) and K2 (team) categories. Regardless of whether it is a K1 or K2 year, the specified amounts for first, second, and third place for both male and female participants will remain the same.<\/p>\n

                                  Adjustments to Prize Money<\/h4>\n

                                  a. Decline in Participant Numbers: The base prize money structure reflects the current participant numbers and aims to ensure reasonable rewards for the top three performers in both male and female categories. If there is a decline in participant numbers compared to previous years, the prize money will remain at the base level mentioned above.<\/p>\n

                                  <\/p>\n

                                  b. Event Entry Increase or Cash Sponsorship: If the Fish River Canoe Marathon experiences an increase in entries or secures a cash sponsor for the prizes, the prize money can be adjusted accordingly. Additional funds will allow for increased prize money for all top-performing participants in both male and female categories.<\/p>\n

                                  Please note that the base prize money structure mentioned above applies to both K1 (individual) and K2 (team) categories.
