2016 Hansa Fish- A big thank you!!
If you were part of the big field that raced this year, a huge thank you from everyone here at the marathon race committee and the Fish River Canoe Club. We sincerely hope you enjoyed every moment of your long weekend in Cradock. As a committee we worked really hard to ensure it was smooth, efficient and enjoyable.
Well done to all the paddlers who took part, To every finisher, cherish the 2016 medal! And to the men and women who achieved milestones, like 5, 10 20 and even 30 finishes, our congratulations!
Both the men’s and women’s title races were thrilling to follow, Hats off to Abby Solms, who took more than ten minutes off a twelve year old women’s race record set by Abbey Ulansky.

Lost and found
Once again we were inundated with people who lost items – from paddles to cameras and clothing – and others who had picked u lost property. If you have anything that is still not reunited with it’s owner, please email us here to have it listed on the website Lost And Found page.
Finally, as we take our leave of Hansa at our loyal title sponsors, a huge thank you to everyone on the Hansa brand team which has activated this unique event so effectively over the years. Cheers guys!
